The Silicon Road
Brief History of the Silk Road
From 130 BC to 1453 AD, the Silk Road acted as a neural pathway of trade routes, dedicated to transporting goods, while also spreading news, ideas, culture and religion to many countries around the world. Through merchants transporting various items across many different empires and kingdoms, the Silk Road unknowingly gave birth to a master marketing strategy. These items became vehicles and these merchants became messengers, carrying information that was spread far and wide.
The Apostle Paul, traveled along the “road to Damascus”, which was part of the Silk Road and helped spread the Gospel all around the Roman Empire and farther east after Jesus’ death. Throughout the Silk Road's history, Christianity spread even farther, eventually reaching Persia, India, China, and Central Asia. It provided a centralized means for the message to spread throughout the world.
Our Silicon Road Blueprint
We have integrated this same marketing strategy.
The Silk Road may be forgotten beneath the sands of time, but there's a new Silk Road, that connects the world even more efficiently. The internet has created digital pathways the Silk Road could only dream of.
We believe that the products of today can be more efficiently used as vehicles of Christian information. This requires a system of integrating the informational paths of the internet to the common, everyday products of today’s world. We call this integration the Silicon Road, in honor of Silica Sand, which when melted down, creates the glass holding all modern-day microprocessors in technology.
Our plan is simple. We allow you to showcase your content, events and ministry on our platform, and we help you turn your coffee cups, coffee sleeves, business cards, stickers and other various other items into vehicles designed with QR codes to bring people through this digital pathway to your ministry.
