About us 

We are excited you have an interest in our Christian school. It is our desire to assist you in your endeavors toward academic excellence and educational advancement.

HCS began as a ministry of Bible Baptist Church in 1974 after seeking the Lord's guidance in the formation of a Christian school in Kissimmee. At that time, there was only one other Christian school in the immediate area. After much prayer and preparation, Heritage Christian School was born. This ministry was established that we might make a difference in the lives of boys and girls by helping them grow educationally, emotionally, and spiritually.

For over forty years, Heritage Christian School has proven to be an academically rigorous school, as well as a springboard for our students' physical, social, and spiritual growth. HCS is fully accredited by the Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Association. Over the years we have seen a steady growth in enrollment. Our average enrollment is 550-600 students. As we look back, we give thanks to God for all the blessings He has bestowed on HCS. As we look forward, we see God moving in extraordinary ways to build the ministry of Heritage Christian School.

What blesses us the most is working with the wonderful parents, and outstanding faculty and staff as they inspire students to discover and excel with their God-given talents and gifts. Our desire is that everything we do at Heritage will be for God's glory as we prepare our children to impact the world for Christ. "Biblically Preparing Eternal Souls" is not just a slogan at Heritage Christian School, but a statement that we are dedicated to fulfilling.
